ASID Online, the "Members Only" section of the ASID website, including the use of the Membership Directory, Industry Partner directory, Message Board, Capitol Connections, and other features and services.

Student members who upgrade to Allied Membership upon graduation receive significant membership discounts. Instead of $375 the 1st year and $260 the 2nd year (annual dues), we pay $75 for each of the first two years - a $485 savings over 2 years!

Peer tutoring network of fellow UCLA Extension design students. Need extra help in a class? Email us at uclaextensionasid@hotmail.com and we will try to match you up with another student who can lend some free assistance. Do you have expertise in a particular area? Email us and we’ll add you to our list.

Ready to join ASID? It's all online.

1. Go to https://www.asid.org/ASID+Online.htm

2. Request a login to set up an account, then sign up.(be sure "UCLA Extension #009" is noted under "Name of School").

3. Email us at membership@uclaextensionasid.com that you've joined, so you can be added to our Chapter email and evite lists.

Or, you may also complete the current Student Membership Application Form, save the document and then send it back to customer service at: membership@asid.org

Once you're a member, you'll receive mailings from ASID National, monthly newsletters from ASID/LA, the Los Angeles professional chapter, as well as bi-weekly email announcements and evites to events from our Student Chapter. You're welcome to attend as many of our monthly events as you like, and we hope you'll try to come to all of them!

In addition to the national membership fee, our Student Chapter charges a $10 activities fee for most regular events - for members and guests. We require pre-payment for all activities rather than collecting money at the beginning of the event. Payment is accepted by check or PayPal (to uclaextensionasid@hotmail.com.)

Need to Renew?

If you received a new card and notice from ASID to renew, you can renew online. Membership is not activated until it is renewed. Have your ASID member number and credit card handy, then click here for your online renewal. Be sure to update your membership information including the date of your graduation.

Already an ASID Member?

If you joined ASID in 2007 - then you're a member of the our Student Chapter. Just email us at

membership@uclaextensionasid.com and let us know your ASID Student Member # and email address.

Then we'll add your email to our local lists so you automatically get our bi-weekly e-newsletter and monthly evite. No cost to join, just pay for the events you attend - typically $10 each.
